SQUARE bars

SQUARE bars

Our high-end manufacturing programme facilitates the manufacturing of high-quality square rods and bars. Our own casting capacities that exceed our flexibility by being able to manufacture a wide range of alloys that help us attain excellent mechanical product properties & ability to manufacture rods, tubes and pipes out of more than 100 different chemical compositions.

Square Rods and bars are manufactured from billets cast by the company itself and 100% ultrasonic controlled after the homogenization process, providing for the quality of our products when applied in the most demanding industries such as the automotive, aircraft and space industries.

Square bar applications

These are again from one of the popular categories that enjoy wide application in manufacturing industry pertaining to machineries, fasteners, and equipments.

Having discussed about the applications based on the shapes, it would be definitely worthwhile to list out the applications also on the basis of functional requirements. For instance, solenoid bars made out of ferritic stainless steels, the backbone of electromagnetic instrument industries, have good wear resistance, superior resistivity, and higher hardness. The role played by these bars as plungers in control valves and electronic fuel injectors, electrical and electromagnetic devices, relays, printers, solenoid valves are worth a word of appreciation.

Most of the application or end use of the bars define the manufacturing and heat treatment techniques. Hence, owing to the specific manufacturing techniques, the performances of these bars always supersede the technical requirement and expectation. Last, but not the least, the stamp of approval by the quality control department plays a crucial role in ascertaining its role in the manufacturing industry. Ultrasonic tests, surface and internal defects tests, composition analysis, tensile strength and other mechanical and chemical properties tests are invariably carried out not only to substantiate the worthiness of the bars but also to establish their suitability for the intended end use.
